These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MapShotPro web application available at mapshotpro.com (the "Service"), operated by MapShotPro ("we," "our," or "us").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
MapShotPro is a web-based application that allows users to load geotagged site photographs locally in their browser, plot them on aerial maps using GPS and EXIF data, add annotations and captions, and generate exportable PDF reports for professional use. All photo processing occurs locally on your device — your photo files are never transmitted to or stored on MapShotPro servers.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using MapShotPro, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your account with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account. Suspected account sharing may result in suspension or termination of your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@mapshotpro.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
MapShotPro offers a free tier with limited functionality, including up to 20 photo exports per month. Free tier exports include a watermark indicating they were generated with MapShotPro.
The Pro Monthly Plan is billed at $25.00 USD per month. It includes up to 1,000 photo exports per month, watermark-free exports, and all Pro features. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
The Pro Annual Plan is billed at $250.00 USD per year. It includes the same features as the Pro Monthly Plan. Your subscription renews automatically each year until cancelled.
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service in addition to these Terms.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your Pro access will remain active through the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account will revert to the free tier.
If you are on the Pro Monthly Plan and request a refund within your current billing month, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We do not issue refunds for prior months.
Annual plan payments are generally non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, we may issue a partial refund at our sole discretion. We do not issue refunds for prior annual periods or for partial months remaining in an annual term.
You agree not to use the Service to:
You retain full ownership of all photos, projects, annotations, and other content you work with in MapShotPro. Because your photos are processed entirely within your browser and never transmitted to our servers, we have no access to your photo files or project contents.
The only content-related data we receive is the count of photos included in each export, used solely to enforce your monthly export limit.
Project save files are stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for loss of locally saved project data due to browser clearing, device failure, or other local storage issues.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@mapshotpro.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
All software, design, trademarks, logos, and content comprising the MapShotPro Service (excluding Your Content) are the intellectual property of MapShotPro. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without express written permission.
MapShotPro is a software tool intended to assist with organizing and presenting field data. It does not provide engineering, surveying, legal, or professional advice of any kind. Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of any reports or outputs generated by the Service. No output from MapShotPro should be relied upon as a substitute for professional judgment.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice, including changes to features, export limits, or pricing structure. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
The Service relies on third-party services, software, and infrastructure providers including Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, and map tile providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of any third-party services that the Service depends upon. Outages or failures of third-party services do not constitute a breach of these Terms by MapShotPro.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data, maps, or exported reports generated by the Service. All outputs should be independently verified before use in any professional, engineering, or surveying context.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MAPSHOTPRO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MapShotPro from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or abuse of the Service. We may also temporarily suspend access to the Service if your usage threatens system stability or security. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, the Service and associated user accounts may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you of any such change by posting a notice on our website prior to the transfer taking effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
